calla lilies and roses

I wanted to share what I have been working on this week.  Remember the Dollar Store candle makover I made for my friends wedding?

You can read more about the Dollar Store makeover here.

The wedding is getting closer so, I played around with the design for the bridesmaid bouquets.  This is what I came up with.

The Bridesmaid dresses are black with a delicate pink ribbon.

The creamy white of the calla lillies and roses just pop against the black.

And the vintage button adds an extra touch of elegance.

Such beauty, can't wait until I can do them all and the brides bouquet.  For now I am enjoying this one on my dinning room table.

I think it's perfect. I love how the flowers almost look like they're crafted in icing. They look good enough to eat! Or maybe I'm just hungry. I loved you candle idea. Simple and inexpensive and GORGEOUS, you can't beat that!
