Chatting with Charity 6

Chatting with Charity

Good Morning!

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful winter weather. Today, I have a printable for you. Feel free to print the picture off and slide it in a frame, on a bulletin board, or under a magnet on the refrigerator. I would love it if you would then share a picture of it in your home in the comments.
...
Remember, NO MATTER what your circumstances today,
YOU are NOT out of the reach of God and He hears you!

 Cabin Fever

Good Morning! I don’t know about you but every year, around this time, my family starts to get restless from cabin fever. We are longing for the sight of sunny day, bright flowers, and time outside. Since that is still weeks away, why not grab a grocery store bundle of flowers and use them to make your home feel like spring has sprung. It will not make the outside warmer these next few very cold days but it will make the inside of your home bright and cheerful.

Ravioli in Basil Cream Sauce
...
Good Morning! Today, I am excited to share one of my family’s favorite recipes, Ravioli in Basil Cream Sauce. My family lovingly refers to it as Pink Pasta and since this is Valentine’s week it is the perfect time to make a pink dinner. Plus, it is super simple to make. It takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish…what more can you ask for!

You will need:
1 (24oz) pack of frozen beef ravioli
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 teaspoons of dried Italian seasoning
1 can of Rotel
1 can of stewed tomatoes
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
3 oz fresh spinach
2 cups heavy cream
½ parmesan cheese
-Prepare ravioli in large pot according to package
-Drain and set aside
-Melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute
-Stir in Rotel, stewed tomatoes, spinach, and cream
-Bring to a low boil and then reduce heat to low
-Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally
-Stir in parmesan
-Add ravioli and serve

Valentine’s Day Cards

Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15
...
As a mom it is my desire to teach my girls how to share the gospel with others. Today, I am going to share one of the easiest ways that I have ever found with Valentine’s Day cards. On a day with so much focus on love it is easy to talk with others about what real love is and where it comes from.
You will need:
Card stock
Markers
Stickers
Hole punch
Lollipops
-Start by writing Valentine down the center of your paper.
-Then add the verse around the letters.
-Decorate, punch two holes about an inch apart, and add the lollipop.
-While you are making the cards share your testimony and ask your children to share theirs.
-Talk about who they will be giving the cards to and how they can share the love of God with each person.
-End your time together praying for the salvation of each person getting a card.
