Birthday Party Inspiration

Little Sister's birthday is coming up soon.  I had been trying to come up with an idea for it, when I got the

 wonderful package from Susie.

Suddenly I knew the theme...

Vintage Birds

Little Sister loves birds and has collected feathers for years, so it made perfect sense.

The first thing we did was transform the dining room chandelier.

The girls and I cut birds out of  book pages and scrapbook paper.

Next, we used some brown paint to add detail and  age to them.

Then a little glue and glitter and we had the...

beginnings of a vintage bird birthday party.

We have many more plans for this party and I will be sharing them over the next few weeks.

You are probably the sweetest big sister EVER! What a nice theme - love it!

Oops sorry, I just realized how confusing that is. She is not my little sister. I have to daughters and they call each other sister so I call them Big Sister and Little Sister, sorry that was confusing.
