Recently
my oldest daughter and I did an art project for her room.
She wanted something different and it needed to have a vintage feel.
So, we dug out some patterns and went to work.
I made copies of the patterns
And we cut them out and glued them on scrapbook paper
This poor girl was to tall and her legs hung out the other side of the frame
This made me laugh so we left it that way
Now,
She has new vintage art for her room at the cost a few sheets of paper.
Have you made art out of something unexpected lately?

You are so clever! Love this idea! Am often drawn to these vintage patterns at estate sales, yard sales etc., but didn't know how I'd use them. Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh my gosh! This is the cutest thing EVER! And those legs sticking out in the back....hilarious. She will love having those in her room for a long time. What fun! Lisa~

Just stopping by from Met Monday. Too cute! I like how this came out and I also like the shadow box with the baby blanket and clothes.
What a darling idea, Cha Cha. I love those vintage girls.
Cute, fun, vintage vibe! I think it's so funny that you left the legless one. It will be a fun thing that will make you both smile when you look at it, and bring back memories of when you made it.
