So Long Insecurity, by Beth Moore

Do you have a special place in your house?  A place that you snuggle in most comfortably, a place that draws you to it?  I have a place like that
a place where

SIT RELAX AND READ.  It is the place where I meet God every morning, before the sun comes up, to offer my worship and rest in His glory.  I am preparing this place today for the next few weeks.   You see my place is about to come along with me on a new jounery, a journey to let go of insecurity.  Have you heard about Beth Moore's new book So Long, Insecurity?  You can read the first chapter at my new friend Susie's blog.  I know as a woman I stuggle with insecurity daily, and I am sick of it.  Well, so is Beth and she is giving us an opportunity to go though this book together at her blog.  Go check it out and get signed up, next Tuesday, so we can all win this battle together.

Today I will gather my notebook, I have an extra one also.  I will sharpen my 45 pencils, because I am a weird chick who only likes to write in pencil so I can erase.  I will wash and dry my favorite quilt, to keep me warm, and find my favorite coffee cup.  I will do all of this so that I am ready, ready to allow God to change my life.   Are you ready, will you come along with me, and with God?  I would love to have all of you sign up with me, if you do let me know so we can encourage each other.

Love In Christ,
Sit Relax and Read

I'm leaving a second message because I'm not sure if the first one went through or not (I forgot to sign-in) So please disregard this one if the first one made it.

Great blog Cha-Cha! I am so excited for you ladies trekking the journey to battle insecurities. What a joy! I am one of the few male followers of Beth's blog and I all but died when I saw the new book title. This is going to be a magnificent experience and I will be praying for you all diligently!

Yes, I have a corner and read my Bible daily. I haven't done a Beth Moore study because they always overlapped with choir :p. I hope you gain a lot of insight. P.S. You're curl up chair looks awfully hard...{smile}. I finally signed up as a follower. Google keeps making me reload a pic.

love your heart for the Lord and your desire to not get any of your value and worth from anything other than him. Most of us spend our lives trying to fill all those voids with useless, meaningless things...when the one who made us is the only one who is able.

Praying for you as you begin this journey with Beth Moore's book....can't wait to read about the victory that He gives you!!!
