Sweet Hubby's Before and After

This is my husbands DIY project, it has been many years in the making.  Just like home projects it is never finished either, he still tweeks it from time to time.  He drives it everyday and I think it is super cool.  I am so proud of all he has done.

This tough tuck is a 1972 Chevrolet blazer.

He has restored it from top

to bottom with his own two hands.

And Just like home DIY it has to get uglier,

and uglier, before it can become pretty.

This is his next project a 1951 Chevrolet truck.

It has been in my family since it was bought new.

But as you can see, it hasn't been driven in a LOOOONG time.

After that he has this beauty.

A 1966 Chevrolet truck.  I bought him this last year for Christmas.

It needs quite a bit of work, but I have faith in his ability to make it awesome.

Ladies thanks for letting me take this chance to brag on my husband.  This post is for those 2 guys who are following me, I hope you enjoyed it.

Love it! While my friends were oohing and ahhing over sports cars (and boys in sports cars), I always wanted a Chevy Blazer or Ford Bronco!

Hi Cha Cha...

Again, I sure do apologize for not realizing sooner that you had added this wonderful post to our Sunday Favorites! How cute...to add it for your two gentlemen followers! I can't wait to show it to my honey! He restores old vehicles...mainly old camaros but he has worked on a little bit of everything! It's his hobby and he thoroughly enjoys it! It's awesome that you showed your honey's old 51 Chevy pickup. My husband has actually looked at a few...thinking that he would restore one! Awesome! Ohhh yes...I'm familiar with the process...when you mentioned that it gets worst before getting better! Hehe! My husband takes them apart...piece by piece...doing a full restoration! Loved seeing all of your honey's projects!!! Thanks so much for sharing them for Sunday Favorites!!!

Warmest wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design

Love restored trucks they are so one of a kind and ALOT of work but it's nice to see someone restoring something other than an old sports car :)

I totally appreciate auto restoration. That was one of my father's many hobbies. I will stay tuned for the after photos.
