So, I am ready to re-reveal Little Sister's bed.
I am finally happy with the way it looks.
It took two Mistreatment's, an extra layer on the bed skirt and putting some fringe on to give it more life.
I love the the texture that layers of pillows add to a bed,
and vintage linens add such history to a room.
My parents brought Little Sister this pillowcase from a trip they took to Budapest, Hungary. Just about every item in this room has a story.
Aren't these lovely, I found them 10 years ago at an antique shop on a vacation in North Georgia. They are tablecloths and napkins, what a total score to find two sets one in blue and one in pink. I used both sets when my girls shared a room, the tablecloths made great throws at the ends of the beds and I made the napkins into reversible pillows.
I love these pillows and I am so glad they are still being used.
So this is the before, you can see the tablecloth was still being used as a throw. I have retired the tablecloths from bedroom duty for now, but I am sure I will find a new job for them soon.
Here is the after, more color and texture make such a difference.
I hope to paint some furniture next week and finally be finished in this room. Thanks for all of your kind words and encouragement throughout this process.

Hello, dear Cha Cha,
Welcome to Pink Saturday(I am a little late getting around to everyone, please forgive me)! I absolutely love that sweet and romantic bed you have created! I love everything about it! I always say a girl can never have too many pillows and that netting and ruffle just make everything perfect. I hope you are having a fun-filled weekend full of laughter! Vicki

Hi Cha Cha....
Ohhh my...such sweetness!!! My friend, this bed makeover is simply fabulous!!! It was pretty before but I just love all of your new bed linens! Love, love, LOVE all of the beautiful decorative pillows...especially the pink ruffled pillows!!! You know...green and pink is one of my favorite color combinations! I have used it in my step-daughter's/guest room! When you get a chance, you'll have to come and take a peek at it sometime. You'll find the link in my sidebar for Tea Rose bedroom.
Anyway...I just love how you used the beautiful netting! It lends itself to such a sweet and romantic ambiance! I am wondering about those pretty walls? Did you do the paint treatment or is it wallpaper? Sooo pretty!!! What a treat...thank you so much for sharing this beautiful post with us for Sunday Favorites!!!
Have a super Sunday, Cha Cha!

Ooops...just lil' ol' me again! I wanted to ask about the pretty rug that I see peeking out in the photos. Is it an area rug? Was wondering where you found it? It would be perfect in my Tea Rose bedroom and I have searched and searched for the perfect rug fot that room!

What a pretty bed! I also think that vintage linens are wonderful. I seem to be addicted to them. I gravitate towards them at estate sales, yard sales flea markets... I think I may have a problem. I really like what a few extra details did for the whole bed!
