So, have you ever had an idea rolling around in your head. One that you weren't sure that other people would understand.
I have had an idea like that for awhile. I have wanted a huge fork and spoon and I finally got the nerve up to do something about it. I searched on Ebay for a couple of weeks until just the right set came up for auction, when they did I snatched them up. On a side note if you sale something on Ebay, please be kind enough to take the 50 cent yard sale sticker off the back before you ship it. Please. I am all for you making a profit, but you don't have to rub it in.
So aren't they beautiful, I know you are jealous, aren't you.
Don't worry, I have a plan.
Don't they look better, amazing what a little black spray paint can do.
After the spray paint, Sweet Daddy built a frame for them. Then, I got busy painting and this is what I ended up with. So what do you think?

I'll admit some jealousy! :-) I've been "hoping" to score some at a garage sale. LOVE how you framed them... looks great!
I luv them! Very cute what you did with 'em. Good idea!

I have been looking for the same thing. I once found some but let my sister talk me out of it. Silly me.
Love em' Miss Cha Cha and I love how you had your sweetie build the frame....just perfect. That's what I call team work!
Thanks, Susie that means a lot coming from you. I am still saving up for one of your FAB signs for the kitchen.
Cha Cha
I like what you did with them. I found a couple at a yard sale but I haven't down anything with them yet. Thanks for the inspiration!
Hugs,
Lee Laurie
How cool is that?!? I am not usually the giant fork/spoon fan, but I totally love those painted black on that bead board! Beautiful!
ChaCha! I've been away and I return to see a message from you that I've won something?!? My goodness! And all while I was at Disney riding your favorite ride? Well, it was meant to be :)
Let me know what you need from me and I'll be catching up over at my place now that I'm home sweet home!
Oh, and I love the fork and spoon - but the price tag? Just mean!
I love them!
So cute! You'd be amazed how many things around my house I've transformed with a little black spray paint, too!
Nice job!
They look wonderful. I love the bead board behind them as well. Laura @ the mansion

they look great. black spray paint and beadboard seem to always be a winning combonation.
I Love these, and I actually have two spoons just like them. I will have to attempt to make them look like yours!
Too cute!! I'm cracking up that they left the price on them, funny!!
What a neat accessory for a kitchen! I've seen the spoon and fork motif on aprons and dish towels, too, so you don't have to worry that other people won't understand!
This is adorable and the black paint really changed the whole look.
I would love for you to drop by and enter my giveaway.

They look great in your pretty kitchen.

I was so mad... at myself LOL

Those are really cute, Cha Cha. I was wanting some of those, too, but I don't have a good wall space.
Adorable! I've wanted a giant fork and spoon for a while too! I never thought of Ebay. I'm off to ebay to search.

Ok, yes - I am a little jealous! :) Beautiful! I love the beadboard and that color in the kitchen is fantastic, too! Gorgeous all the way around! Thank you for sharing! I'm about 1/2 way finished with my bathroom remodel, and I hope you can stop by and see the progress. :) Take care! Artie
That is awesome - I love that you framed them instead of just hanging them on the wall. My best friend just got a set passed down from her grandmother and she's itching to get them in her kitchen. I sent her this link. :)
